Earlier issue with older real-time websocket

For those on our older WebSocket, you may have experienced a brief outage with IEX Data. This was caused by an upstream network provider and we successfully failed over to our secondary network. You may have noticed a brief intermittent pause in data during this failover.

For derived data users, please switch to these new endpoints going forward:

    https://api.tiingo.com/tiingo/equity/intraday/spy

    REST: https://www.tiingo.com/documentation/equity-realtime-stock-data

    WebSocket: https://www.tiingo.com/documentation/websockets/equity-realtime-stock-data

These endpoints use 4x2 redundancy - (4 exchanges across 2 network stacks). Much more resilient, and now includes extended pre/post market data and overnight data.

It is the eventual replacement to IEX Derived (although no plans to deprecate soon).

We will be upgrading IEX Derived shortly, so it will be 1x2 (1 exchange across 2 network circuits) which will result in failover without a brief interruption in market data; however, the new endpoints will still be superior and we encourage migration.
